La cinta dirigida per Carla Sim\u00f3n optar\u00e0 a ser nominada com a Millor Pel\u00b7l\u00edcula Internacional<\/h2>\n

L’Acad\u00e8mia de Cinema ha elegit Alcarr\u00e0s<\/em>, dirigida per Carla Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>, com a representant espanyola a la 95 edici\u00f3 dels Premis Oscar. L’actriu Carmen Maura<\/strong>, acompanyada pel president de l’Acad\u00e8mia, Fernando M\u00e9ndez-Leite<\/strong>, i la not\u00e0ria Eva Fern\u00e1ndez Medina<\/strong>, ha anunciat la decisi\u00f3 dels acad\u00e8mics en un acte que va tenir lloc aquest dimarts a l’Acad\u00e8mia de Cine.<\/p>\n

Guanyadora de l’\u00d3s d’Or al Festival de Berl\u00edn, Alcarr\u00e0s<\/em> \u00e9s el segon llargmetratge de Carla Sim\u00f3n, que amb el seu debut Estiu 1993 va aconseguir el Goya a Millor Direcci\u00f3 Novell. \u00c9s la segona vegada que una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula de Sim\u00f3n representa el nostre pa\u00eds a Hollywood, ja que Estiu 1993 va ser la representant espanyola als Oscars de 2018.<\/p>\n

A Alcarr\u00e0s<\/em>, la realitzadora torna a fixar-se en el seu univers personal per narrar la hist\u00f2ria de la fam\u00edlia Sol\u00e9, que despr\u00e9s de vuitanta anys cultivant la mateixa terra es reuneix per fer junts la seva darrera collita. Interpretada per actors no professionals de la zona de Lleida i treballadors de la terra, la cinta tamb\u00e9 est\u00e0 preseleccionada pels European Film Awards, els premis de l’Acad\u00e8mia del Cinema Europeu.<\/p>\n

Despr\u00e9s de con\u00e8ixer la not\u00edcia, els productors de la cinta, Maria Zamora, Stefan Schmitz <\/strong>i Tono Folguera<\/strong>, es van acostar a l’Acad\u00e8mia per manifestar la seva alegria per la selecci\u00f3, mentre que la directora va intervenir telem\u00e0ticament des de Barcelona. \u201cEstem molt agra\u00efts als acad\u00e8mics i les acad\u00e8miques per confiar en la nostra pel\u00b7l\u00edcula i estem molt il\u00b7lusionats per poder fer aquesta carrera a la qual dedicarem tot l’afecte i el temps del m\u00f3n\u201d, va agrair Carla Sim\u00f3n, que va detallar els propers passos a la promoci\u00f3 d’Alcarr\u00e0s, que passen pel Festival de Nova York i que compten amb l’alian\u00e7a de la distribu\u00efdora Mubi als Estats Units i el Regne Unit.<\/p>\n

Sobre les fortaleses de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula i com est\u00e0 sent la seva acollida internacional des de la presentaci\u00f3 a Berl\u00edn tamb\u00e9 es va pronunciar la cineasta. “M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de l’agricultura, el tema principal \u00e9s la fam\u00edlia i tots en tenim una”, va explicar sobre la universalitat del relat.<\/p>\n

Caldr\u00e0 esperar fins al proper 21 de desembre de 2022, data en qu\u00e8 es desvetllar\u00e0 la shortlist dels Oscars, per con\u00e8ixer si la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula continua la seva carrera per aconseguir l’estatueta a la Millor Pel\u00b7l\u00edcula Internacional a la cerim\u00f2nia dels Oscars, que tindr\u00e0 lloc el 12 de mar\u00e7 de 2023.<\/p>\n
